Our Horses

At Greenridge Stables, we strive to provide our students with fun, safe and dependable lesson horses who love their job!

Dee-Dee

Dee-Dee is a National Show Horse owned by one of our boarders. She is a fabulous lesson horse because she can give a beginner their first lesson and take an advanced rider over a 3 ft. course, all in the same day! Dee-Dee is talented in both the dressage and jumper rings. Dee-Dee stands 15.2 hh and is 21 years young, but you'd never know it!

Taylor

Taylor Made, or Taylor as she is called is an 11 year old sport pony standing at 14.3hh. Taylor is very sweet but she picks her riders and will let you know if she likes you! She enjoys packing around our beginner walk/trot riders, but once you get her going over jumps she is a great challenge for our advanced students and will teach them to ride a more forward horse. Taylor is also gifted with children with disabilities and has proven to be a great mount for our physically or mentally disabled riders.

Mick

Mick is a quarter horse gelding owned by one of our adult boarders. He is a fantastic guy with a big heart. Standing at 16hh and 11 years old, Mick is a perfect addition to our program. He is always trying his hardest and willing to please our riders. Mick loves to teach our intermediate students to jump cross rails and is proud to be the only boy in our lesson program!

Stormy

Stormy is an aged Welsh pony owned by one of our young students. She stands approx. 13hh and is fanstastic for our smaller riders learning to post the trot or do their first canter! She is a saint of a pony and will do anything you ask. She loves to be ridden bareback!

Mystic

Mystic River, known as Mystic, recently joined our lesson program. We are so lucky to have her with us! She is owned by one of our adult boarders. Mystic is a 10 year old Appendix and stands 15.2hh. She is a joy to ride, has beautiful gaits and lots of training under her. She will be a great horse for our intermediate riders to move up to.
